Sad passing of John Williamson
Suddenly on Monday 23rd August 2010.(24 August 2010)
JOHN WILLIAMSON
I am deeply saddened to have to advise the members and friends of Greenock Wanderers of the very sudden passing of a good friend, John Williamson, on Monday 23rd August. John was a keen supporter, sponsor and a good and valued friend to many of us at Fort Matilda.As a mark of respect for John and his family, the 2nd XV fixture this evening (24th August) against Birkmyre has been cancelled.
Our sincere thoughts are with Susan, David, Scott and Fraser at this very sad time.
Funeral arrangements will be posted on the club website, when known.

The Funeral Service will take place at Greenock Westburn Church, Nelson Street on Monday 30th August at 2 pm . Committal thereafter to Greenock Crematorium arriving at 3 pm .
