  • full disabled access and facilities, including a lift
Fundraising
Significant funds are likely from Sportscotland with whom we have been working closely - we have now completed the two stage application process and the prospects look very good - however we will not get final approval until we get planning permission.   We are also in the process of disposing of the redundant tennis court at the entrance on Octavia Terrace which will be developed for residential, and this will give our funds a significant boost.

HOWEVER...........It is key to the development proceeding that the club members get behind the project from a fundraising perspective - and a club fundraising target has been set at £50,000. This target has been allocated across all sections as follows - you can view targets by section and amounts raised to date in the Clubhouse - update details will feature on the website in the future

Message from the Clubhouse Development Committee
We are now at a key stage with the development programme with approval from The Planning Committee hopeful in early January. So if you know any Councillors do urge them to support our plans. With Planning being granted in January it would be the intention to demolish the present Clubhouse around May '06 with building starting immediately on site clearance and scheduled for completion early in 2007.

Interim / temporary arrangements for changing etc are currently being progressed - more detail will follow when available.   Absolutely key now is for fundraising to begin in earnest - we are already incurring costs so getting some cash into the kitty soonest is paramount.............so whatever section of the club you are most involved in do support or better organise something yourself -
YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT ! (see how you can help)
